I missed you. I missed you a whole lot. Our beach vacation was great, but I sure did miss you. It would have been better if you were there.
I missed you so much in fact, that I wanted to give you a gift… as an apology for being away so long. I decided the best gift I could give you would be food! Like maybe cookies! Or Pie! Or this! See photo above but refrain from licking the screen.
It’s a cookie! It’s a pie! It’s this amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough pie. Because I love you like that. I love you like a fat kid loves…cookie pie. 🙂
Do you forgive me now for being gone a week? I’d forgive me too. Are we besties again?
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 pie crust – homemade or prepackaged
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 stick butter – softened
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz. mini chocolate chips
- 3 packages cinnamon brown sugar instant oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tablespoon GOOD vanilla – NEVER skimp on the quality of vanilla
Directions:
Place crust in greased pie dish. Blend all remaining ingredients and spread in pie shell. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
