Nashville, Tennessee is a legendary mecca for great music, and today it’s rapidly becoming an eclectic Southern travel destination, known for history, arts, and renowned restaurants offering decadent food and wine.

When looking for the perfect spot for our stay in Music City, we were fortunate to stumble across an adorable “Nashville Nest”. This super cute studio is an excellent spot to spend a week, or even a long-weekend in Nashville.

Conveniently located minutes from downtown Nashville, and within walking distance to iconic Hattie B’s Nashville Hot Chicken, The Nest affords guests inexpensive Uber rides to limitless restaurants, Broadway, Bridgestone, Nissan Stadium, historic homes, quick access to the arts districts and more. The Nest is also minutes to the universities including Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, and Lipscomb University making the Nest a great choice for visiting parents, families and friends of local students. If you have your own transportation, no worries, parking is free in the private lot.

The Nest is decorated in gorgeous, bright colors with a traveler theme in mind. Whimsical globes are placed throughout the studio, as well as wall hangings unique to the area.

When walking in, you’re greeted with a wall of photos of smiling faces of previous guests that offers the feeling of friends and familiarity. There’s also a camera provided for you to add your own photo to the wall.

The Nest boasts all of the comforts of home. The queen sized bed is exceptionally comfortable featuring a memory foam mattress, with the hosts providing additional blankets and fluffy pillows. The bath came with shampoos, conditioners and soaps, which is always greatly appreciated when you forget that one pertinent toiletry item. The hosts even provide bottled water and fun snacks including lollipops and Moon Pies…our favorite!

The living space is a cozy area with a comfortable couch and TV that provides access to Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and more through Roku, a dvd player, and a fantastic turntable with a crate of cool albums housing everything from country music to jazz. If you’re a board game enthusiast, they also provide a great selection for you to enjoy.

When travelling, the kitchen is very important. Although we thoroughly enjoy dining out, we want the option to to sleep in and then enjoy a nice breakfast at our leisure. The Nest offers a complete kitchen with an ample supply of pots, pans, dishware, utensils, cups and glasses. There’s a full sized coffee pot, tea kettle, microwave, two burner stove with oven, toaster, and a full sized refrigerator with freezer. We really enjoyed making snacks to enjoy at the pool, as well as the ability to prepare delicious, home cooked breakfasts each morning with toast and jam, eggs, grits, bacon, and fresh juice.

Another huge bonus is the complex swimming pool with lounging area. It is fantastic to come home after an afternoon sightseeing and touring the city, to enjoy light snacks, a cold beverage, and a dip in the pool before dinner.

The best part is the Nest, along with all of these amenities, is very reasonably priced to make your stay even more pleasant.
