Take me out to the ballgame! Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks! …and a cheeseburger and fries and beer, and a pretzel and a hot dog…LOL! Ballgames can be amazing culinary adventures.
For Father’s Day, I purchased two tickets to the Atlanta Braves game for my sweet Hass. We had a fabulous time with the Braves whipping up on the Marlins, and turned our date night into yet another culinary adventure.
Hass has been a long time fan of H&F Burger at Turner Field. I must say, surprisingly, this place is definitely in the top three best burger joints I’ve visited. I was really stunned. The burgers were so juicy and not a dry bite to be had. They didn’t need a single condiment, not a single vegetable. This is coming from the garbage can burger girl who adds every topping and condiment known to mankind on a burger. But…those. Needed. Nothing. And the angels sang.
After a little research, I made an astounding discovery. These burgers are from HOLEMAN & FINCH Public House! http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/atl/ticketing/hf_burger.jsp Are you kidding me??? Holeman & Finch are ONLY the best and most fabulous burgers on the entire planet Earth and I am not exaggerating. Not one little bit.
WHAT A TREAT!!!
A spectacular win in Braves fashion and the most incredible burger I’ve put in my mouth to date. Top that with a soft pretzel and a Blue Moon…that’s ballgame y’all!

A Pirates Playoff Burger…..I like it! Don’t know how fresh it would be if we Fed Ex’d some out to you though, we prepare everything daily here at BnD’z.
Any suggestions for what would be on it? I like the way you think Chef!

Since it’s the Pirates, let’s think this out. Hmmm…the obvious first thought would be seafood such as a Salmon or Spicy Tuna burger with a Caribbean mango slaw…or a burger using Pirate’s Gold sauce! OR…you could use scallops for slider burgers! I’m not sure how well that would go over from a marketing standpoint, so maybe add a lump of crab or a few grilled shrimp to your already famous BND burger with some red onion and smoky blue cheese. You COULD always go the parrot route and make it a chicken burger with the Caribbean slaw or turkey burger with pineapple, red onion, Monterrey Jack cheese and a roasted poblano cream! My mouth is watering!! Add a shot of Caribbean Jack Rum and you’re in business! Now THAT may have some mass appeal! Your possibilities are endless! Keep me posted on what I am sure will be a masterpiece!
